6s hosted their Table Quiz in McSorleys last Wednesday night. If there was a Leinster Fundraising League the 6s would be up for promotion!! #notbiasatall.

A total of €1,550.20 was raised making it the most successful fundraiser so far this season! With a turnout of over 130 every team in the club had at least one table at the quiz, the Rugby and Tennis sections were also represented which was great to see.

‘Scissor Me Timbers’ ran away with first prize, One For All vouchers totalling €100. How they managed to score so highly while sitting that close to the bar is an achievement in itself. Second prize was a voucher for UCD Sportscentre although we can’t remeber who the deserving winner was. ‘The Mentalists’ came in third. Anna Wairepo’s eyes grew wider with each bottle of wine she received as a prize for her team!

Most Imaginitive Team Name went to ‘Aviva Has Pitch Heaters’ for the laugh they gave the judges, ‘Quiz-teama-Aguilera’ was a close second. Both teams got themselves lovely spot prizes. The Wooden Spoon prize was… wooden spoons and Creme Eggs for Team ‘Blank’ who were a bit shy about coming up to accept their prize.

friend/housemate/other half/stranger, bought a raffle ticket or supplied a prize…
